The Sensory Story

Stepping, balancing and changing direction invite children to practise coordination while exploring two body-based senses: proprioception (body awareness) and the vestibular sense (movement and balance). Make a route, try another and find your own way across.

Ready, set, glow.

Two balance beams and three circular stepping pods give little feet a whole world of routes to build. Line them up, space them out, change the course and see how many ways you can move from here to there.

Made for repeated movement and indoor adventures, the durable pieces feature non-slip pads on their bases and light-up elements that keep the fun going for hours.

And for a very parent-friendly detail? We've included the AA batteries and the screwdriver. No hunting through drawers before the fun can begin.

Rainy afternoons, busy bodies. We've got you.

Easy, play-based ways for the body to regulate

A little bit more about why movement is so important for regulation from psychologist Jacquie Ward.
